Hi Cuties!!!! I can see you, lol. The surgery in the right eye went real good, I had to go back yesterday because I am having alot of twickeling bright light flashes on the temple side, they checked to make sure the retina had not torn and decided it is some kind of reflection coming off the implant lens. They are hoping it will calm down in a day or two. But everything else seems to be good, thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, I know they all helped.

All the best with your surgery. My grand daughter has cateracts. They found out when she was about 8 years of age.

My brother had his done in his mid 40's, so I suppose it's not unheard of. He was funny, he said the surgery was going to save him a bundle on laundry detergent. He said he kept re-washing clothes because he couldn't get the 'yellow' out of the whites. Once he had the surgery, he realized the whites were white, it was the yellow cast of the cataract he was seeing! He was so funny. Also, when they put the new lenses in his eyes, he didn't need glasses any more, either, his eyesight was 20-20. It's amazing what medicine can do now, reconstructing our worn out parts. I'm so glad you're getting this fixed, recovery shouldn't take long, I think he just had to be careful of bright light for a while, but no pain. I'm happy for you, "see" you when you get back! Big hugs, Marji

I had both mine done, 1 month between surgeries, back in 1992 at age 50. One I came home in morning and put my End of Month bills (300+) out by 5:00PM. I have had no trouble with mine. Such a blessing to be able to see properly immediately.

Oh, I'm so glad you are able to have surgery to help with your cateracts. I pray everything will go just as smoothly as it can, and you will be back, enjoying your clearer vision! Rest up, relax and know that you are in God's hands. Hugs, Jan
