Wish I had kept all those long zips I had - there were heaps of them. Might go and check my arts recycling store.
Interesting. I haven't seen these before. You did a great job making these. Thanks for the instructions.
My sister told me about a bag that was a long zipper. Thanks for showing me what it looks like.I love the purple.
How clever! Great minds can work wonders! You two sure did...I am not certain I could do this evenif I had a team to help! You are so clever! Hugs!
not clever, just crazy - LOL We kept giggling because we were both so confused.
Very interesting, these look great and you did great photo displaying the opened bags here. I have a fabric strip cutter and wondering could one of those be used in place of the ribbon? Of course ribbon is all ready set to go.
I love these bags i made for my granddaughter she use it allot .Mary Mulari,s has a book calL,
ZIP @ CARRY BAGS
If made in a spiral I do not think they will lay flat. Very cool project. Live Laugh Download Stitch!

These are great. You have done well with them both. Shirley
The purple bag is about 8 inches wide by 9 inches tall. That black stripe is actually the zipper. The zipper was 100 inches long, I think. The zipper gives it lots of body, and is so much fun to zip and unzip!
The green one was made with wider ribbon and a shorter zipper - just 36 inches. The bag is actually as wide at the top, as it is at the bottom. We just haven't figured out the formula to have the zipper end up directly under where it started.
This fun ribbon came from Walmart. But you have to go to a sewing store to get the long, long zippers!
I guess these are like upholstery zippers...the kind used on sofa/chair slip covers?
