I would love to embroider potholders, but am a little concerned about the thread melting. Have you had any problem with that?

I have the silver heat resistant fabric on the back for the "hot" side.

What about the thread? Does it melt, or does the heat resistance prevent that?

I haven't had it melt. I haven't laid a hot pan on the thread side though.
