"Sewing With Nancy" does a whole set of shows on sweatshirt makeovers. She has made her videos available on her website. You might look and watch the tutorial there, and be sure to feel free to toss in some of your own creativity!!
Here is one I made last winter.
Did you use a pattern for this it is really nice looks like you reset the arm holes to,I would be pleased if you could give me more info.Thank you.
I ripped the ss apart and recut it by a pattern that fit me nice and used a western style shirt for the yoke then added my horse design .
This site you have to join but they have so many free patterns. I added the links to an Autumn sweatshirt conversion pattern and one with sunflowers.
The other link has a variety.
I hope this helps.
THANK YOU,THE PRECIOUS METALS JACKET IS LOVELY,Will look again did not see the sunflower one.
The "Sunny Daze" pattern is the sunflower jacket.
Sadly the "Precious Metals" jacket does not include the jacket pattern only the embelishments.
Here is another.Very primitive
OOHHH, I like your jacket. Lots! I have one that might get changed up a little after seeing this!!
Here's one I made about 3 years ago.I know I did applique and I think I just stenciled the tiny snow flakes. Sorry Can't recall.Binding on edge
This is so cute. You really did a great job. I'll bet you get a lot of compliments when you wear it. Hugs,Susan
No sad story is I gave them both away as presents, have NEVER seen either ladies wear them. I could have given them to a person in need.
I am not a "person in need" but you can send me gifts like these and I promise I will wear them. They are wonderful!
