Good morning!!!! in this side of the world, I would like to know if is it possible to take out some designs from a comercial card and DL to Embird so I could place them the way I want. It is an alphabet from brother, i have PE Basic, Thank you hope you understand what is my request I am not very nimble in computer language LOL!

Try doing a save as and save to your computer. Once you open the design in embird do a save as and save it as a pes file {even though it is already a pes file} to your computer. The file should save and you can open it from your computer. If you want to you can save it to a thumb drive or cd. I hope this works for you I do this when I am having a problem with a design and It works for me.

Can read from design card into my PE v5...not sure the 'Basic' reader box will read a design card..but what's to lose by trying?

Not sure, but if you can read the card design
into PE lite and save/restore it to your computer it should work to read it up/open with embird and merge designs. perhaps one of the avid PE useres can help. Good luck
