I have a friend who would adore this hat, she wears hats all the time!
Very clever. Your hat looks great - you have certainly made it a one off. Nicely done.
Wow how special to see this project especially with you wearing it. very beautiful both you and the hat.
What a treat, both your lovely hat and your smiling face! Thanks so much for showing us how to do it, I couldn't imagine it would be that simple. Don't go giving away all your secrets, now....hugs, Marji
A unique hat and thanks for the instructions on how to do one too
Thank you all for looking and your sweet comments. It was not difficult. I used the HEAVY sulky WSS on both the top and bottom and flattened the crown of the hat in the machine and it stitched with no problems whatsoever.
Well, there were no problems, but I did have to keep the crown and back brim rolled up with my hands during the process.
Could you have flipped the design and had the crown and brim at the left??? That way you would not have to fold the hat.
It still would have hit the crown, I tried it that way first, but being left handed I was more comfortable this way. You would probably like it switched better.
Wow, what a wonderful job! Thanks for sharing. I always knew my hats were missing something.
What a great idea and lovely broad brim to do it on. You look very 'Royal'! Brown and blue look lovely together.
Love the lQQk on your face this piture is price less :):)
