Just a note, you don't always need 4 spools of a special thread for decorative applications, you can use a plain thread in the needle and when doing a rolled hem I use 3 threads and a plain color that matchs the fabric in the needle. Saves a little $$ when having to replace your whole supply! At least you can get by with less now and add later!

That's right and also it's good to buy four different shades of a colour so you can match the needle thread/s and the looper threads are similar without buying 4 reels of each. Anything to save a little. Jan
