I am so happy I found a shop near me that sells stabilizer and they have Embroidery classes .but not much in the way of threads .

I will just have to keep looking for threads

minnieb, If you buy over the internet, Terradon Embroidery sells Marathon thread, 1100yds. for $1.75 (US$). There are 321 colors! I have a lot of this thread, and it's great. It has a lovely sheen to it, and it looks lovely in a design. You might want to give it a try.

No, that isn't me. That picture was taken at SeaWorld in Florida. I wish I were brave enough to play with those huge dolphins!

I have bought threads at abc-embroidery they have a great choice, it is cheaper than in the shops in france, and they have often sales
