Would you like to know how to repair your own sewing machine?

If I understand this (new??) site correctly, they offer free online tutorials/courses for machine repair. Probably not the inner workings of an embroidery module or computerized unit, but hopefully this can help save some money here and there.

I am one of those who lives a fair distance from my dealer but only a phone call away. I have had quite a few 'consultations' on the phone to sort problems out and found out how to do things I have not been sure about. Thanks for the link but I will stick with what I have. The site I have added is very useful too

"Repair" wasn't the best word. How about "diagnose and fix problems". Sorry for the confusion.

Not such a good idea on a computerized embroidery machine. It can end up costing you more than you save.

There are lots of trouble shooting tips here, like what to do when your bobbin thread is funky or continued jams, etc. I guess "repair" was the wrong word.
