10.8.2012 Has somebody bought designs from swedemb.se? They have nice designs and I bought some mondaynight. They offer only paypal and I get a confirmation from paypal that they send the money to swedemb. My order is still marked as "pending" and no reaction to my mails. Some ideas? I'm really frustrated and also upset :o(

Update about swedemb.se:
I've got my money back via paypal but they seem to have the same problem like me: No communication possible with the owner. The only mail I and paypal ever get was that the order is cancelled. Very weird :o(
I was cheeky enough to make a test and put the freebies from my order an a new order and get them without any problem (like Muffy wrote).

How stupid can somebody be to bother people who are willing to pay for their designs? Or they should change the page and give them all away as freebies.

What a pity I really loved those cute skogsbarns and the valkyrie was exactly that design that I'm searching since weeks :o(
If somebody knows similar designs at another page please giv e me a hint :o)

Well, that was a wierd experience, Bettina! I don't remember any Shogsbarns, but I have seen something like the Valkyrie, I'll put my thinking cap on for you, try to remember where. Hugs, Marji

Bettina, I think you should explain to PayPal that swedemb were the ones who cancelled your order, not you, and that they should refund your money. Or explain what happened to PayPal, and see if they can get swedemb to send you the designs you paid for. This is a bit riduculous. Perhaps being Swedish they are not very fluent in English, and they don't understand what the problem is. They're sure not going to get a lot of customers like this, that's for sure. I'm so sorry this is happening, I do hope you get it straigtened out. Hugs, Marji

Just have found on paypal that you get no refund for digital products like e-books or embroiderydesigns :o(
Have written to swedemb to send the money back or I will nevertheless try to use the buyer-protection...

I found this out too. No refunds for digital products. You can file a complaint but that doesn't get your money back.I hope it wasn't too costly for you.

I wrote a message to papyal that the seller cancelled the order before I even get anything (just loosing time and nerves!). That is so annoying :o( Never had something like that: A seller who behaves like a prima donna...

After sending them 4 mails (3directly to the adress from the order confirmation/paypal-account, one on their own homepage) I was sending them a short message through paypal that I tried to get in contact to get my dl-code and get no reaction back. 3 minutes later I got a mail from swedemb that they have cancelled the order! I replied and asked why they did not react to my first mails but again: No answer :o( Sorry to say this but I cannot recommend this shop...

NO. Just have send them a message via paypal 30 minutes ago and 3 minutes later (!!!) I get a mail from swedemb thath they the status of my order is changed: It is now cancelled!!!
Sorry don't know what customer-service is in their opinion. Try now to get my money back :o(

I got some of their free designs with no problem, but then again I didn't have to wait for the Pay Pal part. I got the download link right away and downloaded the designs with no problem.

Just thought that I maybe better have taken only freebies without that payment part. Seems that they are in shock that somebody really bought some designs. Not good for their business!

Marji I think they should send you the code cause they wrote "Your order information will follow" (just when???)
I know this system from another page that offers different possibilities to pay. I have only a order confirmation with all the designs listed and a link to the order at their page. In both places the order is still "pending" :o(
Still no reaction to my mails...

Die zerstören gerade mein Weltbild von den netten hilfsbereiten Schweden und das mir, wo ich selbst bei IKEA gearbeitet habe (GG immer noch). Inzwischen bin ich richtig sauer...

I've just been on their site and saw at the bottom of the left-hand side, DOWNLOAD AREA. It says to enter download ID you received in an e-mail and click on START DOWNLOAD. You might have sorted this by now, hope so. Jan

Should PayPal have sent the code, or does it come from the site? I know I really hate it when I don't know how something is supposed to work. Instant download is easiest for us, but maybe expensive for a new site, which this looks like.

Are they supposed to have instant download, or do they e-mail the designs to you? When I purchased from Watts Embroidery, she sends an e-mail with the designs, and she asks you to wait about 8 hours or so before you start to worry. Maybe try sending them another e-mail, perhaps they didn't get the first one. I'm always a bit leery of those contact us forms that don't have an address, you never really know if anyone's getting the mail. I hope you get this sorted out, it can be frustrating. Marji I was looking if there is any note about vacation or something else: Nope. I thought that they have instant dl cause you can only use paypal but you need a code for the dl-area and that was not in the order confirmation. There it is still signed as "pending" :o(

Did you try contacting PayPal? They often have a telephone number of the vendor. In you Pay Pal account I think it is posted as well. I hope you get it worked out.

Angie there is just the webadress and the mail-Id that I have used now for several times :o( Why did they not use instant dl when they only accept paypal? Would make it much easier.Even when you are in holidays you can check your mails if you don't close your shop. Greetings, Bettina

Maybe you ought to report this to PayPal, and have PayPal contact them? They should be able to get through even if you can't, and I'm sure they'd respond to PayPal inquiry if they're interested in doing business with them.
