These are darling. Did you every get them digitized? Do you put them on DBC or some place else that we could buy them? Thanks for sharing your beautiful designs with us.
Oh Martine thay are marvelous. What child would not like these? I do so admire how creative you are/Lillian
Such a fortunate granddaughter! And yes,in answer to your question, they do look fun-Toogie
Oh Mops, they are really adorable! I hope you didn't get motion sickness doing this on the water :-) I hope you took some photos too. Seeing the ark rolling on the waves make me think maybe you felt the rolling waves too!
This was just a breeze, didn't have trouble using a mouse. Fortunately I never get seasick, not even in a force 10 gail in a sailing vessel in mid-Atlantic.
These are great designs. I have downloaded some designs from other sites meant for a coloring book - however, I have no idea what to stitch them out on. Then is it a one time color book or is there special colors they use so it can be washed and colored again.
I just used a heavy cotton for a Christmas colouring book and it was a one-time thing.
But some fabric markers can be washed out as long as they are not ironed which sets the colours permanently.
Or, you could use the 'fabric crayons' that use heat to set them, and the coloring book could be a keepsake. I wonder if you could use the 'chalkboard' material to embroider on, they could use colored chalk to color & erase & color again.
I think there is also 'whiteboard' material, I've seen it in rolls like contact paper. Kids could use whiteboard markers, wipe off and use again.
These are terrific - so fun to color!! Lucky Grands! Hugs, Laura*
What a good way to keep yourself busy :) These are just super and will make a really great coloring book :)
10 hours is a long time and you were very productive. DGD will have such a good time coloring this cute group. I always have to take something with me.....it keeps me from annoying the grownups by asking, "Are we there, yet?" ;)
Can't help but laugh Jerrilyn, I have that same problem if I am not driving./Lillian
Looking forward to seeing the finished product - all coloured in!
Martine - these are just lovely. Your GD will love them. Sarah.
Great work for being on a constantly moving boat!! I would have given up he he
These are great for her to color. You made good use of your ferry trip. The photo is for "bonnetgirl". She asked about a Mrs. Noah.
First Mrs Noah I have ever see. Thank you. I will not see my friend till Oct so I can't show her but will surely tell her I have seen a Mrs Noah.
Hugs Joann
that sounds like a wonerful trip, if I would have been closer, I would have went with you.
How cute these are! That was some trip, 10 hours, good heavens. It must be rather further than I thought, or else they should get stronger oarsmen on that ferry. So glad you had something to do, and they really turned out just darling. Hugs, Marji
Average speed 19 knots (35 km/hr) - they need galley slaves to up that. They do get new ships in November, wonder if they are faster. They will be bigger.
adorable...just asking a question that has been ask of me. Where is Mrs Noah. She collects anything Noah's Ark but she ask me if I have ever seen a Mrs Noah. So gonna ask you.
Hugs Joann
How clever of you Martine - and it's a good way to spend all that time on a Ferry. Love Chris
