Help please I'm looking for a very pretty crib design 4x4 or 5x7 I have found two just what I was after they are so pretty, but they are just a little to large to fit in a 5x7 hoop plus one is the wrong format.

If you make a design smaller how small can you go? I'm scarred of doing damage to my new machine if it does not sew out correct.

This is the info for one design I like
175.51 mm x 150.11 mm 6.91" x 5.91"
Stitches: 15079
Formats: DST, EXP

My format is PES SO I'm thinking THE ABOVE DESIGN (IS NOT SUITABLE )

Also can you please tell me how to add a link to my question? I have tried before but my links don't work many thanks

I think you can go 20% smaller in the machine. It will only do so far up or down. This is because the machine cannot alter the amount of stitches, so they get pushed closer together. The size does not seem to be too large for machine sizing down to 5x7.

I have reduced to 75% (down 25%) with good results but my embird does reconfigure. As Sue says a lot depends on the density of the design. You can try it but stitch a sample to see that it is going to look ok before stitching on your article. Sue has already told you how to add a link/Lillian

I forgot to say, se Wilcom Trusizer to reduce and change the format to PES. It is a free download.

You can reduce in size down to 80% of the original. The success depends on the density of the design. (Yours sounds fairly light.)
To add a link, first copy the URL you want to link to from your address bar and then paste it into the box. Note that it begins with http:// so be careful not to have that twice! Finally, click the Add Link button on the right.
