one can think this is waist of time, but the beauty result worth it
Simply amazing and soooo interesting! You did a great job with a wonderful helper! Wait till my DH hears what yours did!
You did a fantastic job on the quilt. How do you quilt a reversible quilt - do you have to do one side at a time and them put them together?
They are quilted at the same time. I quilted them on my longarm machine. This was my first attempt at one. I added the large black borders to the side I felt would do the best as the backing. (It was also the smaller quilt so it needed more fabric all the way around.) That gave me room to pin it to the frame and have extra on the sides. I then lined up the top and back borders and started quilting. I was lucky that the bottom border lined up pretty close. FYI, it is impossible to get the top and back of a reversible quilt to line up perfectly. It was close though. I was pleased.
Thank you
looks great did you do an envolpe turning??hugs
Thank you
No, she is going to add binding to the edges, if that's what you're asking. It was quilted on my longarm machine. The other block is a Suzanne McNeill 10 minute 3 seam block method. You can watch a video here. Thanks again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zb...
Sorry, tried to load the link but it doesn't work. Guess I'm doing something wrong.
