I search everyday for something..... I just got done searching for my apple quilt to hang for September back to school.... I look for designs too. And I call myself organized Ha ha...

Always terrible when you know you have something! I have lots I haven't filed yet, so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!,

Yes, searching for a design is annoying at times. I commonly put things in more than one category to help me out. For example, if I have a redwork design of a rose on a coaster that I've already stitched out once, I'd put it in rose, coasters, redwork, and archive folders. Yes, it takes up room on my computer, but I have lots of memory and it does save me searching time.

Happy hunting. Sometimes I look for hours and then it finally comes to me. I don't have all of my designs put away but if I ever do I'll have no problems finding anything. LOL Hugs & Stitches, Liz

I have a special folder that is named 'Bev found it' and Bev fav.
Also If I am going to do a quilt. I copy all that I might like into a folder, then del the ones not used for that project.
I also add words to folder (luv alfa),mine are saved per site name.

Which system do you have to store your designs? I have a folder for every kind of vessel. Do you know the designer? For the shops where I bought the most I have own folders ;o)

Helen its just a motorbike, will keep looking . Its hiding in a crack i know it :)

If it's on your computer and you know the name of it you can do a search and it will bring up that design or designs with some of the same words in it.
