Hey all you newbies! How about adding a picture avatar to your screen name? It's easy. Just click on the HOME button way on the left side of the menu. You will see My Account, hold that button down and you will find the add/change picture link. We LOVE having a photo to identify you with - and you can find your own posts much more quickly!
You don't have to make it a picture of yourself, unless you want to. I'm a cat lover, so I usually feature one of my kitties!I just changed my avatar! This is Poppy, my ragdoll, with one of my kitties in my collection - it moves and meows, paws and purr just like Poppy. He's actually "Poppa Noah of Solid Rock" We have Snap, Crackle and Poppy! Poppy loves quilts!

I've tried 3 times to upload avatar and can't get it to work. I'm computer illiterate!!! I'll keep trying; will figure it out eventually. It just keeps telling me "submitting form"...is it supposed to take more than 10 minutes to upload? Love your photo.

You have to make sure your picture is very very small, Nancy, otherwise it won't upload. That's probably why it takes so long. Make it tiny and try again. Hugs, Marji

360664I just saw your new avatar, love it! Of course, anything to do with cats is ok with me, and mine love quilts, too. I wonder if it's the new fabric smell, kind of like "new car smell" to them? They just have to test it out, anyway. Inky will scrunch himself on a 2 1/2" square, if it's new quilt material. Hugs, Marji
