Dear Lillian, well said oh wise and gentle one. This is exactly what this site is all about. There are many people behind the scenes sending love and support to those in need. Love and blessings Chris
Dear Lillian, I'm crying again reading this. I remember the day when I lost hope in life, and the Cute Family was there for me. Life is improving for me and my son. He is 20 years old now, a full time student, and he is living in a homeless facility in Japan. It has been 4 years when he had to leave Australia, he was only 16! I talk to him every weekend, and he is studying hard to get a scholarship for the University next year. I'm so proud of him, as he is getting good grades at the school. I think I wouldn't overcome all the problems I had with my life for the past 5 years if I haven't the love, support and prayers of my Cute Family. I'm truly blessed! The quilt is a beautiful proof of love from you all have given to me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Just know that I love you, and may God bless you and your family always! Love and hugs, Yoriko
Yoriko, you bring tears to my eyes. You are special you know and we cuties know this. I am so proud of you and I know the joy you feel as you see your son becoming the young man he is. I will keep you both always in my prayers. Much much love my dear/Lillian
It would be a sad day with no Cute site to go to. Bless all the Cuties and thank you for being here. Hugs Sarah.
I didn't see the grumblers But I love this site
I don't do as much on it as I used to but still take the time to check it everyday. I have made some great friends and they have helped me over some rough patches and shared with me the good times THANK YOU CUTIES Will always be willing to be involved in helping others
hugs Raelene
It could noy have been said better THanks Lillian.
Hugs Lenamae
You are so right! It is what makes this site and its members and its wonderful owner so very special - please always stay the beautiful souls that you true Cuties are.
It's great to see people who take time to care about others. I too would've like to have had a heads up about sharing with Yoriko. She's a lovely lady so I'm glad sbout a project to honor her.:~D
This was one of three quilts that was put together using squares sent in by the Cute family. They were started a long time ago when the membership was much smaller and fewer folks contributing to the Community section. Another resent example of the Cutie love was the outpouring help with the Uganda quilts.
Oh yes and don't forget angel card showers and more helping out behind the scenes both for cuties and many worthy causes that have been blessed by cuties helping.
AMEN & Thanx for voicing what "True Cuties" feel & care about! Yoriko has helped sooo many others when she needed help herself! She is a "True Cutie" We should all strive to be more like the Yorika's in our midst. Hugs & ** to all. Judy
The quilt for Yoriko is lovely and she is a very nice cutie- always willing to help. She helped me so fast my head spun. Well done.
I love this site and all the help that is freely given. Love & support in the time of need - whatever that need maybe is also freely given here. Where else can people from all over the world be there for each other on a daily basis. Yorkio has been one of those long time special ladies who has given of herself freely on a daily basis. I am glad you all went together to make that wonderful quilt for her. I just wish I had know about it and could have been a part of it. Thank you to all of you wonderful people here on Cuties.
Thank you Lillian. Haven't been on much lately so I'm not exactly sure what has been said about the lovely quilt we made for Yoriko, but I for one was so excited to be a part of it. I'm finding that grumblers are just that and they must be very unhappy people to constantly try to ruin things for others. I was taught that if you can't say something nice about someone you shouldn't say anything at all. Now I've broken that rule but in this case truth is truth and its not suppose to hurt anyone. So if the shoe fits WEAR IT.
You are absolutely correct in this message. We truly care for one another.
I will be very happy to take part again.
The quilt/s are fabulous.
Glad to be a "cutie"
I didn't see any of the grumblers because I haven't been here as much as usual. My daughter had surgery on her foot and wasn't able to walk for 3 weeks so I've been a little busy. I agree withwhat you have said and I don't know anyone more deserving than Yoriko. She has had some hard times & if we can make it a little easier that is great. I love this site & all the people on it. Arlene
Maybe the grumblers were just having a bad day themselves. Anyone who knows Yoriko knows how deserving she is of this quilt. May many more good things come her way.
Bev
I agree 100%, Lillian! This quilt is a tangible result of love & caring, and a great example of what we can do when we all pull together. Thanks for this post, I appreciate the sentiment. Hugs, Marji
I completely agree with you, Lillian! I am happy to be a part of this group. I have been given strength when I needed it as I know many others have. I have friends all over the world because of this site!! Hugs, Laura*
I didn't notice the grumblers, but it was a lovely gift idea from cuties to an exceptional cutie. Long live cuties!!!!!
Thank you Lillian, you have written what I wanted to say, but I was worried Cuties would think I was on my soapbox again. :-))) hugs and love, Meg
I really appreciate Ms Veronika for not only starting this great site, but for continuing with it. It is now more than a website and chat group. I have truly made friends here, and come here every day. I've learned a lot from other cuties - about embroidery and about life.
I will always treasure the help so freely given on making quilts for the orphans in Uganda. Cuties came through with flying quilt colors! I felt so blessed with so many who care about all the children in the world.
You are right, Veronika and her loving caring spirit is what drives the cuties. She is always in the background, something a lot of cuties do not realize./Lillian
"A friend in need is a friend in deed". To be able to carry someone's else's load or to make them forget that they are not alone is a great gift. "...God loveth a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7) ;D *2U
Glad I didnt notice the grumblers .I guess I havent read a lot of the post . I was so happy for Yoriko ! Everyone needs to feel they are loved like that once in awhile.
