You are so blessed! Like in the Bible where the man used the money to increase his master's money so he was blessed with more! You used your "stash" for the quilts & look what was sent!! Wow! Waiting to see what your next project is!!
Wow. What a special gift. I bet both you and her are happy now! When it is time for something to go, then it is just in the way! Have fun with your new treasure!!
looks like Christmas early this year? you do so many good things with your fabrics & talent that i'm sure the lady is truly blessed for sharing her stash with you!!
Wow, you really hit the fabric lottery! And then you got to play and sort it all, that's so neat! I'm sure the woman who gave it to you is glad her stash went to a good home, where it will be used for good things. I am so pleased for you, couldn't happen to a nicer, more giving person. Hugs, Marji
WOW! Lucky you! Way to go! Now won't you just have lots of fun!
You are very lucky. Looks like a lot of fabric and beautiful colors!
I always say "what goes around, comes around" this just proves it, all that you gave has been returned. Glad that you are the recipient of all this beautiful fabric,
hugs
Michelle
How wonderful that is - looks like a lot of nice fabric....not like what was offered to me last week. LOL I had to say no to the offer, for it was all old polyester and what looked like lining materials.
I was offered a large amount of fabric and when the person went to get it for me a family member came by and she gave it to her instead. I figure she needed it worse than I did. I bet it was old polyester too.
This is WONDERFUL! I am sure you will find good projects to complete with this gift.
I think there is a bright and beautiful quilt hidding inside those piles of fabric.
Enjoy this blessing my friend. God is good!
Jan, God is good.No one deserves this more. Congratulations, Stella
Oh, Jan, I'm so happy for your good fortune! Quite a nice, colorful assortment! I feel like I have hit the jackpot, whenever I go to a thrift store and find that someone has let go of all their fabric stash. I snatch it up at a bargain, and feel like a kid in a candy store!! LOL

Jan - I just can't get use to your new avatar. I have to read the name now to recognize who it is. Enjoy your rain from heaven.
I probably should just stay with one... but I love to share my kitties - and my life!
Oh my Goodness! I will try hard not to be too jealous! I laughed when you said you were trembling....I would have too!
Nice for someone to share with some one who will appreciate the gift!
I couldn't think of a more deserving person than you. I am sure a lot will find it's way to needy children.
One place or another! It really makes me think of the loaves and fishes!
You are a very lucky Cutie!
There were also some small pieces of batik, and some flowers that work perfect with my next project. It had lots of little scraps, too. I already stored with my other scraps that are sorted by color!
you have hit the jack pot... almost like the lottery..have fun..
I think it was more like the lottery - than the jackpot!
There must be at least 200 yards!
Jan, I think you sent the praise up and it rained back down on you!(like little Gabby Douglas,Olympic champion said.) What a wonderful surprise.;)
Incredible surprise! Now I have totally replenished all I had used for the Uganda quilts! amazing!
Oh what a day you have had. You were so smart organizing all of that. Sometimes I have just left things in a bag and never appreciated it. I am impressed with your blessing.
Now I'm trying to blend it all in with my already full sewing room! What a problem to have!
Yes, I agree God is good. You are truly blest and so will be your good samaritan, and the children in Uganda.See how God's love overflows! Enjoy your new treasure and let us see what you make, there is such a varity of fabrics.Love from 1 Cutie to another-Toogie
Toogie, I just couldn't believe all I kept pulling out of the bags! And I also knew I had to tell the Cuties about this, because if there is any group of people who appreciate fabric - It's Cuties!
Isn't that the truth! My children/husband can't understand how I am happy to just look(and of course buy ...SOMETHING)in the same fabric store. There is always a sale on some sort of fabric and I never get tried of looking at different designs, textures, colors, etc. and imagine what I can turn it into. I need to try to get back to sewing my baby gowns/dresses but I don't have enough time in the day.I am back at work since school started,am exercising 2 hours a day and I have my grandsons bluejean quilt started.Yes,Cuties,I have made a START.haha
etc.I need to start on baby clothes again but I don't have enough hours in my day(or energy left at the end of the day, haha)I have started back to work since school started, exercise 2 hours a day and I have started that bluejean quilt for my grandson.
I'm Jealous!LOL
I just can't believe it! Most of it was really nice quilt fabric! There are some unique pieces of fabric too - a piece of red silk, lots of heavy-weight black, and tons of beautiful flowers!
Some of this is what I have been shopping for!
