This is so simple, yet so pretty! What a neat idea for those little quickie gifts you need, like for teachers, hostess gifts, birthday remembrances, "thank you's" for someone who did something nice for you. For a real usable hot mat I'd definitely use insulbrite, and leave off the beads, as they'd probably melt. This is just so dear, thanks for sharing the idea. These circles are becoming quite the thing lately, I'm anxious to try them.
Oh My! This is terrific. What a handy project. Thanks so much for sharing this idea. I'm going to try to make some for Christmas. And thanks for explaining it also.
Adorable! How large were the 5 circles, and the yo-yos? thanks
Thank you all so much for your sweet comments. I am so glad you all liked it. I used a CD as a template for my circles. I hope you will all post pictures of yours when done. Hugs Susan
This is absolutley darling, can't wait to try it. thanks for sharing.

You did a great job with the picture it shows all the detail. Thank you
I love this! Your picture displays it well and you did a great job. I'm looking for small projects to take with me when I go on holidays...I think this will be one of them. What cute hostess gifts at Christmas...or any time. Thanks for sharing, Avis
oh sew pretty Susan. I have made two quilts similar to this. they are sew easy to stitch. thank you for posting this, will have to try as I really like yours. Betty
It looks great. I made a table runner for Christmas once using this technique...well the circle part.
Beautiful, haven`t seen this kind of quilt before. How big is one circle?
well the beauty of this, it can be any size, as long as they are all the same. use two different materials or all different. sew your circles together using a square that will fit inside your circle. be percise in measuring. you can make any size you want just keep adding until you are happy. great way to use up leftovers. Betty
want, great way to use leftover material. after sewing your circles together, cut a small hole(I usually cut in the part that will flip over and turn inside out.
This is extremly nice I think I will make one for myself, thank you for sharing, rgs Carol
Thanks for sharing Susan. This is great. I have the quilt instructions like this but never thought of making hot pads or placemats.
This looks like it would be easy. You've done a great job. Love Chris
Really nice, and sew creative. Looks great with the beads you added.
