My 40th class reunion is next week and they do an auction, you bring a wrapped or bagged gift that weighs a pound and they use money brought in toward the next reunion and I hope mine brings in some money, they will buy it without knowing what is in the bag so here is what I did! Hope it looks as good as I think it does! The Christmas one has the 1/2 towel attached to the bottom and I will use the rest of the towel to make one for myself, found the new towel in a drawer here and the pot holders were a 2 pack from the Dollar Tree! Got black pot holders to do Halloween ones for my Mom and me! Posted in projects also. Hope it's OK.

Yeah, when I found out about it I was wondering what on earth I'd take. It can be a joke, candy, well, anything, lol!

I wish they could see it before they bid, maybe then it would bring in more money but if someone bids as little as $1 they might be the winner! I might have to bid on it for myself. Don't think that would be fair though. It will sell for whatever they bid.

Thank you, I never sold anything and I hoped these turned out well enough to use by someone not related to me, lol!

That is such a cool idea....Would you mind if i use it at our Guatamala benifit auction also? We are asking all the churches within 20 miles to participate in this event...

Oh gee, it was just an idea, do whatever you want, hope you bring in some good money to help. I guess the reunion committee has done the 1 pound auctions at every reunion to help with money for the next one. I thought is was cool.

Now I see for what you did the search for the wine-design ;o)
What a funny idea to do an auction of bags with unknown content. A little bit like those auctions at the airport with the forgotten luggage *lol*
Hope you have fun and a great time. I have class-reunion on the 22th of septembre (also 40th but primary school ;-).
Hugs to you
Bettina

I should have switched the sides for the bottle and glass so the bottle tilted toward the glass but it was a last minute decision to put both on. The LHS is our school and it's Leopards so the paw print and grad year of 72. I hope someone loves it!

Thank you, it was fun deciding what designs to use. The rooster was with variegated thread.

I think they will but I am not telling anyone what bag is mine and few know that I embroider.
