Friday is my dear friend's birthday. She has battled so many cancers and keeps on going. Yellow is her "happy" color, so I stitched out some daffodils that won't wither. The flowers design is from MistyMountainEmbroidery, and the butterflies are from ls-liane-stitch.de
The card is my own design, made with scraps from my sewing basket and a few buttons.My embroidery isn't perfect because I had some machine and cat challenges. But it is the thought that counts.
The frame is 9.5"x12".

Too funny about the the machine and cat challenges. :) Did you embroider it on cotton? What stabilizer did you use? I have all of MME potted designs but haven't stitched them out. I'd like to start working on them soon and make so small quilts that would be hung above the doors in our home. We have 10 foot ceilings and that's all open-dead space.

Thank you! I embroidered on cotton broadcloth, with heavy cut-away stabilizer. I initially embroidered this design on some drapery weight fabric but chose wrong colors. It stitched better than the broadcloth.
10013I have an HUGE apology. The butterflies are from Tavernmaker. I stitched out butterflies for both and must have got my notes confused. I'm really sorry because I sure don't want to cause problems or hurt feelings!!

"Cat challenges", yeah, I know all about those when I'm embroidering or sewing, hee hee hee. My dealer: "What did you do now?" Me: "Nothing, it was LUCY who did it!" My dealer: "Why do you let your cats sew?"
