Wow! This turned out great. This can not be easy to stitch on. Thank you for sharing with us,
Thank you. It wasn't too bad with my single needle. I used a lot of pins to keep it in place. ;0)
I can see someone wanting to 'snap' this gator up! I think it came out 'cool', do kids say cool anymore?haha I wish you could remember where the gator was from-Toogie
Thanks Toogie, my grands still say cool. hehehe.... I'll look and see if I can find it again. I wish designers would put their info on there jpegs so I can remember. hahhaa.
Did you embroider the name and applique right on the bag? Did you hoop it in the hoop?
I hoop my stabilizer and then spray it with embroidery adhesive and then pin really good.. I also babysit it to make sure everything is good...
Your book bag is cute as can be...but please be cautious about putting names on children..there are so many pervs out there.
I know what you mean. I used to be a police officer and that was one of the things I would stress, but the schools require the names because of thief. I tell you, you can't win for losing....;)
Thank you.
I'd certainly consider this project a success! Putting the name on the side gives real emphsis to the alligator and the "P" is is very cool. Good job!
Looks great!! Pearson is going to be the envy of all his friends at school. Well done!
thank you... His Mom LOVED it too. She told me to be ready for other orders. LOL...
Oh my goodness I love it...I have the same applique and love how you used it.
Hugs Joann
Sometimes, those little bumps in the road turn to greatness! I love it. ;)
thanks jeri. IKR? Love the way it turned out. Is that a new pic with twins?
No, they aren't twins but 1st cousins born 13 days apart. My first granddaughters. I have 3 grandsons so I was really ready for some pink.
oh how cool is that. You are going to really really love doing all the girly things.
