As long as you are the digitiser of the designs you may GIFT them to other members, but please remember, you MUST have digitised the designs from artwork you have permission to use and you must note the origin of that artwork when you fill out the upload form.
Any designs that breach Copyright Laws will be removed and repeated offenders will face a reprimand or possible banning from the site owner.
These rules are for the protection of the site owner AND other members, so that they can be sure the designs they download are legal.

how do I know when I get a picture off the internet if it has copyright? Also if I like a design i see, i will digitise a copy. Is that also copyright? So confusing
You should not take pictures off the internet without asking the site owner for permission to do so and copying another person's design is mopst definitely in breach of Copyright laws, it is classed as Theft of Intellectual Property.
You MUST have permission to use the artwork you digitise from, you must NOT EVER digitise a copy of someone else's design. A good rule of thumb is:
"If in doubt, DON'T"

You are probably doing nothing wrong. Remember the upload form only accepts files that have letters and numbers only, no spaces, no symbols; e.g. Flower #1 would give an error message, flower1 works well.
I usually copy the files I want to upload to a temporary file and rename them.
That way I keep the original names in my filing system and have 'acceptable' names in the temp file.
Now I know what I did wrong. I had spaces in the file name. Thankyou for your help.
That's the same in my embird: the german Ä,Ö,Ü are giving me an error also / and * . Could not open those folders in embird or it gives me "Error 123" the hole time :o(
