If all else fails, if you remember the name of the site ytou purchased them from, you may be able to go to your account history and just redownload them...most of the sites will have a record of your purchases...good luck!
I think these are the ones, can you log back in and re-download them? Just a thought.
Muffy :)
I know what your mean about the names. I have the same problem, especially if more than one type of thing is in the set. If I want a "fish" and I happened to have put it in a folder called "Jacobean Marine Sea Creatures" it may take me a while to find it. If you haven't started a filing system, you probably need to start.
When I first download a file, I put at least one word in the name about it such as "flower" or "earrings." I file things in at least two different folders, digitizer and topic. Basically, I then think "where would I look for this? and put it everywhere I think I'd look.
Think about what will work for you. Key words are great to use because you can always do a search on your computer to locate that word. It has saved me more than once!
I like "putting it everywhere", Penny. With my luck, I'd still look the one place I didn't put it! Keywords are a lifesaver. So is Digitizer Pro's Gallery, and SewIconz, makes life easier.
Oh, Pat, what a bummer! Do you not file your downloads by digitizer, or by subject matter? I do both, and it's so much easier to find things. My files are by digitizer first, then subfolders under that named "birds" "flowers" "fsl", etc. When I download anything, and the download screen says "save", I click that, and then choose the folder to download the file into. That way my desktop isn's cluttered up, and I only have to file things once. I rename the files when I save them to the folder, too. So much easier, hope you can get a handle on it. I'm sure someone will remember where you got your owls. Best of luck, hugs, Marji
