Use 2 layers of WSS Stabilizer...One on your hoop and then use scraps just where the ribbon is going. That way you can use several layers. That should really help. I save all my scraps for projects like this. Thank you so much for posting the photo!

Looks great and so does the stitching on the ribbon. By the way, what width is the ribbon that you used? :-)

1.5" and it worked well. I wish though that there was a way to keep it from puckering. I did use spray glue to attach it to a water soluble backer. Oh well, it isn't like someone is going to use it a lot.
