Avis you are right on. This is a great feature. I have used the Pfaff 4.0, but I own the sensation and it has the same feature. It is really great. Cindy B
Hi Cindy! I KNOW I can always count on Pfaff so I don't try other machines. It's sort of like the guys -- you know, if it's Ford for them it's always going to be a Ford -- hehehe!! I'd love to get the Creative Sensation one day, but for now I'm content with the CV and my 2140! I'm always learning something that I missed. Blessings, Avis
I have a Pfaff Creative Vision and I love this feature. See page 9:4 and follow the steps. Try this on a small design and then re-start to get the idea. I was working late one night and my eyes were going cross-eyed and the design was large...so this came in handy. In the morning when I got back to my machine the design continued. Also, look at page 9:5 and read about the "Current position". Sometimes you need to play with some of these new features to feel comfortable with them. Enjoy your machine! Blessing, Avis
Just another thought to the above. You can always write down your stitch number and go back to that when you want to continue. Avis
This is a feature offered on the Pfaff creative 4 machine - I found it when I had to change my bobbin. I thought the machine would be like my BabyLock and just start again where I left off when I removed my hoop and returned it, but I found I had to touch "Save to current" screen button for my Pfaff creatve 4 to remember where it left off. First time I removed hoop and reattached it did nit remember and I had a mess- lol.
Wow, some machines are too smart for our own good, hee hee hee. My Janome 300E doesn't care if I take the hoop off or not. It just cares if the needle comes unthreaded. It'll even sew without bobbin thread, ask me how I know, hee hee hee
I have Janome products, but are you talking about digitizing or doing changes to a design in your software, or actually sewing it out on your machine? Maybe I'm just being dense because I don't have a Pfaff, but I'm not sure what you're asking. Could you clarify? We'd be able to help better. Thanks and hugs, Marji
Yes, look on page 9:4 of your owners manual. Middle left page says "Save current state (C).
This is a function directly on the the embroidery machine and not digitizing software like PE design or Embird.
I have Pe-design But I am sure you can use File: "save AS" the same as me. I just add a,or b,after the name then you can always go back to the first save if needed.
