Does anyone have a program that can put together individual font files to make a name? I really need one put together into .pes. Is there anyone that can help me? Also any advice on a program to buy that is not overly expensive that can do this? I have stitch era universal free, but it doesn't do this type of merging that I can figure out. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you have purchased or downloaded free alphabet letters that are already digitzed you can use the Sew What Pro Program. Sew What Pro which is an editing program to put the letters together to form words or names and you can also add a design to letters or names etc.
You can download the program and use it for 30 days or 60 saves before you have to puchase it so you can try it out.
Sands computing is the developer of this program.
It is reasonably priced.
The program is easy to use and all updates are free.

They are also Beta Testing another Lettering Program Sew Write that will be available to purchase soon too.

Hi and welcome to Cute. I use PE design. What machine do you have?

Embird does it! i had the same questions 2 weeks ago and one of our wonderful cuties gave me a You tube link how to merge and arrange letters. i have Embird ofr 5 years and did not know about this. Embird has a 30 days free trial.

Look at the left side of the page for links to names. There are at least 3 from different fonts for each name there.

Era will do this for you. If using a predigitized font - All you have to do is click the Designs tab, Machine format, locate font you want to use and drag and drop each letter into your workspace. Or if you want to create your own font then use the Embroidery Tab/ lettering - select font -size - stitch type etc type in the name you want and hit enter - lots more settings in there you can play around with also.

There is a wonderful site called 'Heartstrings' which have hundreds of free names all in PES. They sew out beautifully. Hope this helps. Sarah.

You may be able to do this on your machine, depending what you have, but if not, you could send me a PM (personal message)-to greysewist -telling me which name you want and I could assemble it for you and email it to you if you give me your email addy. To PM, go to Community and look for the Private Message tab up at the top.

How do you get designs into your machine? When I want a name/saying I just download the individual letters to my machine and move them around until they are close together like I want. I'm not familiar with your machine - hopefully one of the other cuties can help you.

I use Embirds text program but do not know of a program to do this... good luck.
