well I think this is puurfect :-)
Big hugs from London - Maria xx
If you hadn't told us there was things wrong I wouldn't have given it a second thought. I like what you did - mistakes and all. I will take it if you decide you don't want it. :)
Thanks so much! I may change the way I describe things, however I will continue to express myself the way I wish to. I love it! I am gonna wear it!
I like her just fine!! Fleece and felt are two of my favorite fabrics to play with All the toilet paper covers that I stitch are on felt and most of my scarves are fleece. I buy both from the remnant bins at Joannes. Saves tons of money!! and if I mess one up , so what! Kay
I think this is just one cute kitty. Don't tell your mistakes, and no one will know.
I LOVE IT. I stay away from line or colourwork designs because I feel they get lost in the material or they look boring. BUT, using your idea of a fleece background is perfect!!! I have so many ideas now. Imagine a plain baby blanket with different colours of fleece. Thank you for sharing. Lyn. xx
Most times, if you don't tell, no one will realize you have any mistakes except you! Looks just fine to me!
I think it's cute, for the next time, I would try the pinkin shears to trim it then it would look like you ment to use that design. Great design :)
I like this look and I did mean to do it this way. The fleece does not fray, so it should be fine in the wash.
Just wondering why you would use a design as an applique design if it is not digitized as an applique design ??
The fleece on the wrong side is fuzzy and soft and It stands out because it is different than the shirt.
I used a line design of a puppy with fleece under it like this, just because it worked and looked cute and I got a white puppy on a dark top. ;)
I think she's adorable, and to find the mistakes somebody's going to have to be way too close to your chest! Or belly, depending on how low you actually did put it. Just slap them, hee hee hee. But a serious question, why do you have stabilizer under the applique? Wouldn't that make your material tend to shift? Or am I not seeing something right here? Been known to happen. Hugs, Marji
You get the prize! I messed up and that is why the stabilizer is in the wrong place! Lol! I really enjoyed reading you comment, Thanks so much! I can not write here what my D says about it!
I think it is a lovely design. Looks great. Sarah.
It looks very pretty. As for your concerns: I can see the tail has a tiny bit missing and the green leaves are not perfect, but when it was on a bought shirt you would think it was meant to be that way! I love it.
Thanks. It is not an applique design, however I really like the look of the outline stitching.
Those rough edged applique designs are just the same as outline designs. Nice thinking out of the box and using it this way.
By the way, when I applique on towels or fleece I use a wash-away or iron-away stabiliser under the applique, it prevents cutting the pile/loops of the underlaying fabric when you trim the applique shape.
It is art. I agree, no one will notice but you.
Awww it really is cute. It looks like it is on a pocket and either the design slipped or you didn't use a big enough piece of material for the applique. That second row of stitching on the foot looks like you could just pick it out and then just glue a little bit of the same fabric on the spot where the material was short. No one will notice when you wear it unless you point it out. I had to make the photo bigger to find the problem.
Oh, I really like this kitty! She is sweet! But, I don't see your mistakes... She would look really nice on a sweatshirt. How big is she?
The design is 4 x 4 with a little room - however for unknown reason my machine would not let me move it in the hoop.
well it looks great so far !!If its to low can you add lace ??hugs carolyn
