I got the designs from an old story book. But discovered after that there is a site on the net that has them made into embroidery machine patterns. Hugs Joyce

I painted the block with watered down Jo Sonya acrylic paint with fabric medium added and then hand embroidered. The pictures came from a very old story book.

Thanks for the nice words of encouragement . It was the first time I had attempted to paint a fabric block. It was practice for her quilt.
