I've tried a zillion ways it seems like. Nothing really works well for me. Sometimes a post will show up several times, all with different responses, so saving the address as a link doesn't work perfectly for me. I just can't depend on following discussion on this site in a timely manner without a ton of hassle or looking around.
If there is a discussion with ideas that I want to save, I highlight the whole thing, use "save as" under "file." Just give the file a name and you can save it in a folder any where you want. That saves me having to save it as a Word doc.
I check and give flowers but if theres no check it is cause i need to go back and reread it .Works for me hugs
It is the best way to mark the post with a bookmark in your favorite-list. My program saved everything as "cute embroidery" so I have to change the name to soemthing that reminds me to the theme so I can find it later again :o)
Greetings, Bettina
An easy way to return to important questions, with the question page open, click on Favorites and ADD to the folder you created, Cuties, and it's easy to return to the page. When you are finished with that question, simply delete it from the Favorites colum.
I make a copy of the address & paste it--the link-- in a document or make an html link on my desktop so I can return to it:>) If it is a great idea, and I want to keep it for more referencing, I put it in a folder labelled--"good ideas-n-stuff." This is just a folder of these links to Cute questions & answers, & other sites recommended here:>) does this help?
Berny how was Harrogate?
It was fine, packed,I do enjoy it,it takes me days to get over it, bought gadgets I will never use looked good at the time, some lovely quilts Regards Berny
If you save it as bookmark or favorite you can always find it again.
My bookmark is a long list but I can access all my sites from it.
Also if you search your own name from the community page you can find all your comments.
Happy hunting!Bev
I don't get the list in time order so it takes me forever to find the one I'm looking for.
Let me suggest that if it is something really important to you just open the question - like this one is now in your browser and go up to the very top and click on the address. When you click it, all of it should turn blue. Right click and select copy then open a word document and right click on paste. Save the document on your desktop so you can check on it daily or until you are satisfied that you don't need it anymore. You can put a bazillion on that one document even when you make a note reminding yourself what it is about. ;)
Yep, I'm having the same problem. I get so frustrated trying to find something that ends up on page 6-7 only because it got bumped back by something that has been brought forward from 4-5 years ago and the cutie is no longer here. Hugs..Carol
Yes. I made a comment the other day and came back later to see what answers I got and have not found it - gave up.
