Ordered Organ needles from Allstitch. Ordered both 11 and 80/12 flat shank. Great price for 100. Can buy Schmetz locally until they arrive.
Thanks everyone! Hugs!
I use Schmetz Topstitch needles in both my Brother embroidery machines, as recommended by my dealer and don't have any problems (the eye is longer than the Schmetz Embroidery needles). :) xXx

I use schmetz universals in my 780D (and my Quattro) - I use 80-12 size because I can get them in bulk at my dealer (when they have a sale).
I use Organ Needles...I purchased an assortment of 100 in size packs of 10 each (from size 9 to 18) on e-bay...total cost including shipping was $10.00! Love them...you can also purchase 100 of one size...just search e-bay for Organ Sewing Machine Needles...
I love The Organ needles...
But if you buy from Hancock, you can use Schmetz

Thanks so much. I tried a Schmetz embroidery needle size 14 and could not get it inside the needle holder. what size should it be? Should they be embroidery needle or just Schmetz brand? Sorry I am asking lots of questions but really rppreciate you help. I broke 4 size 11 Schmetz needles on one design.
A 14 is rather large for most embroidery, but it should go in your machine. Perhaps you need to loosen the needle clamp a bit more. I use an 11 for most of my designs. I have used regular needles, but an embroidery one is better, because it has a larger eye. The thread slips through better. Make sure you are inserting it correctly. Most home machines you put the needle in with the flat side to the back, threading through the eye from front to back.
