Iam glad to see this post, even though you have so much on your plate! I have been wondering about you, and how you are doing. You are in my prayers.
There always seems to be 'something' to put a damper on things, isn't there. Stay strong GF, I'm afraid sometimes our faith, and hope that things will get better, is all we have to cling to and it just doesn't seem enough.
Vent all you like, we understand and we are here for you.
I'm so glad to hear your Mum is going to be OK.
Hugs and love, Meg
PS. I hope you can enjoy a little humour as they say laughter is the best medicine. Hugs, Meg
PPS, Would you believe I missed the anniversary on September 1st, I'm three years down with two more to go, and we're BOTH still here!
I think we should be celebrating together!
What'll you have, Scotch? Vodka? Margherita? Pina Colada??
Congratulations Meganne! I'll keep fighting if you will! I'll take a whiskey sour please! Planning to have one tonight at my 40th class reunion but only one because of the Fentanyl patch and I will be taking 2 pain pills before we go in hopes the hip/leg doesn't hurt too bad.
Sometimes, Debra, life's challenges seem to all come in close proximity, and it is so easy to get overwhelmed with it all. Know that you and your family are in my prayers. Hugs to YOU!
Angel
Thank you, at times I get down but then I see someone who has worse problems and get my perspective back.
Dear Debra, More prayers for you and your hubby, your Mom and Dad, and your brother! May the wonderful Lord keep you well and strong, strengthen your spirits and give you a restful mind about all of these things! Psalm 62:1 "my soul finds rest in God alone." Trust Jesus and He will keep you in perfect peace and keep you well! Hugs! ro
My heavens, cancer just doesn't seem to leave your family alone, does it! I'm glad your Dad was observant, and your Mom got treatment in time, and that she doesn't have really really bad problems from it. I certainly hope things look up for you from here on out. You can come here and lean on us anytime, but you know that. Big hugs for you, Marji
Thank you, yes, the Cuties have been a life line for me! I treasure you all.
You are so precious to all in your family. You will be able to carry your burdens with the help of our dear Cuties and the great love of our dear Lord above. I pray for your Mom, Dad and husband too. May you find peace and joy again soon. Big Hugs 4U, Debbie
Thank you so much, the Cuties have helped me through the last 3+ years of this!
Debra positive thoughts from my bit of the universe
Hi Debra, I hope everything will settle down for you soon. I'm adding my prayers for healing for you all. I do hope the situation with your brother will improve too. Luv Chris
Thank you Chris. It's hard just day by day here and I need and love my Cuties!
Debra I hope you have some more peaceful times coming your way. Adding to the hugs.
Angie
I've always heard bad news comes in threes. I hope yours is over now. You just vent all you want to. We are here for you and I am joining your prayers that nothing else happens.
Let's hope it's finished. My 48 year old cousin's husband is dying of cancer, he only has a few months, she is devoted to him and it's going to be hard for her. After that, I don't want to hear anyone is sick!
Dear Debra - after all you have been through. I hope by now that your hubby and mother are on the mend. What a worry for you. Sending love and Hugs Sarah.
Sending you lots of prayers. You've definitely had all you can handle so time for things to get a whole lot better for you and your family!!
Wow... that is a lot. Prayers of support and love coming your way. Hugs Christine
Hopefully it was caught before any damage occured! I have always heard that when it rains, it pours and you and your family have had a steady flow of the rain. With prayers, I hope that all of you will be feeling much better and nothing else rares it ugly head! May our Lord give you the strength to get through all of this and all of this becomes dormant for many yrs to come. Prayers and many blessings, Linda
Thank you so much, the words and prayers from Cuties has gotten me through all this, it's going on 3 years now unless you go back to when my Dad had colon cancer, then it is 5 years but I'm happy to report that he is considered cancer free now and Mom didn't have anything permanent from the mini stroke so if we could just get me into remission it would be great! Don't know if that is possible with bone cancer.
