I don't know if I should be looking for one to come or not. As I posted a few weeks ago I got a gift of an apron and maybe that was sent in place of a cushion. I sent mine off a week ago.
Sue or some other intermediary who might know who sent what, might be able to clarify for you. If the sender of your apron would like to make contact with any of us, we could let you know and swear to secrecy, too :)
To post it herself would give away who she is but going through a 3rd party is a great idea. Thanks for suggesting it.
Please if anyone has a problem you can either email me directly melide_menschen @ yahoo.com.au (remove the spaces) or PM me here at Cute so there is only one person assisting Sue to keep track of things. Hugs and love, Meg
Oh my goodness I hope I can get mine done in time to get it to my SS on time my machine is in the hospital and my serger was down for two days. Hugs Lenamae
Do I sense a little excitement? We never grow up when receiving a gift do we?
All gifts were very highly prized & appreciated when we were kids, there were only two a year & it was a long wait from December to August. Our generation really had it tough after WW2 and the great depression, didn't we? Hugs n love, Meg
I hear you. That is one of my pet peeves with the youth of today, they have sooooo much and don't really appreciate any of it. Its the parents fault, I know. Both parents are working, someone else is raising the kids so the parents buy them everything under the sun to make up for them not being there. Just a different world right now.
under the sun. Such a different world now and not sure I like where its heading.
Hugs Jerri
I agree with you on that! I spoiled my son because his Dad never even thought about him after the divorce(or before)! He now , at 45, still expects it but Ihave not been able to work for 9 yrs so it takes everything I have to just get by. His idea of a gift for someone is a card, if he even thinks of that. The cards did use to be beautiful but since he married, they come very impersonal! She is the one that pickes them out now.
gift is a card, which used to be beautiful but his wife now buys them and they are very impersonal, like I am just an acquaintance. She is jealous of anyone that even speakes to him. Her 2nd marriage and his 1st!
Mine has not arrived so I am just quietly waiting
You, I'd say, Meganne, LOL. Mine is sitting here staring at me too. Some of us are so good at self-restraint, aren't we?
The anticipation is starting to kill me, I've never been this patient before. hehehehe
whatever those other virtues are meant to be, patience seems a tough one at times like this. Stay strong! You've done so well so far :)
