Go over to the right side arrow which is next to your name, then HOME. Click on the arrow. Click on Help. I typed in the search box,
How do I deactivate my account? This is the message and how to do it.

If you don't think you'll use Facebook again, you can request to have your account permanently deleted. Please keep in mind that you won't be able to reactivate your account or retrieve any of the content or information you've added. Before you do this, you may want to download a copy of your info from Facebook. Then, if you'd like your account permanently deleted with no option for recovery, log in to your account and fill out this form.

If you can't log in to your account, you'll need to reset your password first. To do this, go to www.facebook.com and click the Forgot your password? link below the password field. Once you’ve followed the instructions to reset your password and can log into your account, you can deactivate or delete your account using the steps outlined above.

They certainly don't seem to make it easy for you to leave once you sign up.
I tried to get out of it once before but couldn't find any way to do it!!!
Logging out only means you will have to 'sign in' again the next time you visit, it won't close your account. Good luck.

I would be upset also. To close FB fo to the top right of the page to the right of your avatar pic and username. There you will see a down arrow. Click that arrow and scroll to log out. Hope this helps. Good luck with the other. Live Laugh Download Stitch!

How can they charge you for anything unless you give them your credit info. At one point, you must have given your credit info. People have to be more careful who they give and where they post their personal info. They can't charge you unless you gave them your info.

do you or anyone else that uses your FB acct.play games on there? If so-most start out free but after a certain point in alot of them they sneak in and say if you want to progress-buy points etc. My sister-in-law's 5 yr old did that to her-without knowing they were being charged. She had the charges removed but also put some kind of block on it so it won't happen again.
