'Cute" project.I love applique but unfortunately,I haven't had any luck doing any embroidery on tees-Toogie
Thank you, Toogie! I don't hoop the onsie - I pin it to the hooped stabilizer. It is hard keeping the back of it away from the front - sometimes it is easier to just take a side apart! Good luck! Hugs, Laura*
It is so cute - where did you find the brown onsie? Thanks for the info on the design and how you managed to work with the applique easier.
Hello, Shirlene!! I bought the onsie in the baby "boys" department at Younkers .....it came in a set of 4 boy colors. So, I have to be inventive on how to use the dark green, grey and navy blue ones - for a girl!! Miss you! Hugs, Laura*
That is the cutest little outfit I have ever seen. I have been wanting to do something on a onesie but no little ones to give to .
Hugs Joann
Joann, thank you for the kind words! Onsies are a bit tricky cause they are so small to hoop! Hugs, Laura*
What a great football oufit. Cute as can be.
I think this is such a great, fun idea. It will have everyone laughing. Great work, gran!
This is so adorable, If your concerned that everyone will think your GD is a boy, just sew a cut little pink bow somewhere.
Actually, my SIL is so "over the moon" with his daughter that he will correct anyone very quickly. But a pink bow in her hair is not a bad idea!!! Thanks Jerri!! Hugs, Laura*
Hi Laura (that was my Mom's name) I hope you will post a picture of your GD wearing this adorable onsie.
Looking forward to seeing a picture.
What fun!! Now dad and daughter can have an extra connection, even if it is just symbolic. :)
That is my shadow down at the bottom right ...... one day, maybe I will be better at taking pictures!
