oh sweetie , I 'm so sorry. Tomorrow a new door will open for you. perhaps a better one!!
Oh dear, you will be on the top of my prayer list! Hugs and God Bless, and remember, when He closes one door, He ALWAYS opens another!!
Christine so sorry to hear that you were retrenched. I hope you find something else soon. Will keep you in my prayers. It is very sad that so many people are been paid off. My older sister also went through this, she was with the company for 35 years, then she found another job and was only working for 11 months and the company closed done. She was very lucky and then got contract work which ended on Friday. She had sent her CV out to so many and nothing came up. Our prayers were answered. She went for an interview on Thursday and got the job to start next week.
So just keep on trying. Something will come up. Hugs Yvonne
Dear Christine - I am so terribly sorry that you have been retrenched. I hope they have reimbursed you well. My youngest daughter was retrenched last year and it took her 8 months to find another job. Times are very hard, especially with all the terrible news we are getting at the moment. My thoughts are with you and I hope you get something soon. Do not give up as I am sure there is work out there for you. Big hugs Sarah (Knysna)
Well, when one door closes another better door opens. Praying that this door will be even better than expected, hugs S*
So sad to hear your situation. It´s not easy anywere. So many people loosing their jobs. Think of what your good at and perhaps you can start something yourself at least doing something you like
so sad to hear this. It seems to be a trend all over the world. Our new state leader just sacked 2000 public workers from Hospitals and transport and where ever else he can think of. He has only been in power less than 6 months. Some very seniour personel and heads of departments were notified by E-mail that they were out. What a "NICE " way to do it. He is a rat. Queensland is not a happy place at the moment.. Hugs Joyce
So sorry to hear this news. I just know another better job is out there for you. Hope you find it quickly. Christine
Hugs n Prayers that the new door the Lord is opening will lead to new and exciting opportunities.
So sorry to hear this. You have my prayers and my hugs.
Angie
so sorry to hear that....I have had that happen to me and the feeling is not good....I did get some good advice though when it happened to me...take a couple of days....then on Monday, your new job is to find a job...get up start making a resume and doing everything you can to make it happen...I was lucky and only out of work for a month....I wish you well...Becky
Thanks Becky, been working on updating my resume and have outline a plan of action to start on Monday..hope it ain't going to be like my diets that usually started on a Monday, heheh
Sorry to hear that. Be positive. I like the phase- when one door closes another one opens.
positive is the one word that really strikes a chord...I was actively involved in HIV testing and counselling throughout Southern Africa, and I feel a need to get back to that.
So sorry to hear this. I have been through it far too many times, through no fault of my own. Glad now that I am retired and it isn't a worry any more.
Just remember when one door closes another opens and usually a better opportunity comes along. I hope so for you.
Hugs Jerri
That is the part that hurts most, no fault of my own. I will keep knocking and the right door will be opened :) Hugs
I am very sorry to hear this bad news Look at it this way every thing happens for the best many Hugs Brenda
I'm so sorry Christine. Just take a few days to stop and breathe and reflect. This is not the worse thing that could have happened to you and you will overcome it. Sending you hugs.
Find out what your options are as to applying for unemployment in your area and any other benefits that are offered to people who have be uprooted from their jobs. Prayers that all will work out for you.
Thanks for your prayers and advice. It is amazing how many are in a similar position.
So sorry to hear this sad news. My thoughts are with you.
Thanks Cheryl, am meeting with a rep from CCMA tomorrow, re my legal recourse. Thanks
I am so sorry. So many of us know exactly what you are going through. Have faith and you will find that what you need will come to you -sometimes from the most unexpected sources. Everything will work out for you and you will be surprised at how strong you are.
Hugs and prayers
Sorry to hear of your predicament. I know the feeling well. Hopefully it will mean that God has other plans for you. I know when it happened to me I was at a loss. Then in about 3 months I received a wonderful opportunity to work at home and make decent money doing so. So I will pray for you that God has closed a window but will open another door for you soon. Hugs, Mary
