Well my friend asked me for panty linners as these get very costly lol so thats what she got hugs
Thanks for all these great ideas! I'm thinking about some table linens.. I already made her the memory lap throw with tons of designs representing parts of her life, her family, places they have lived. I've made her sweatshirts about being a grandma, and lots of towels... Maybe a nice bible cover would be nice.... she really loves table linens... can we ever have enough?
I have made (embroidery & quilted) for my Mother a small table runner for each season. Usually make them reversible so she get 2 for 1 and She enjoys changing them for each holiday.
It is so difficult, but what about a nice Bible with extra large print (maybe just the New Testament) if she is so inclined? or perhaps nice hankies personalised for her.
Some cookies or cakes so that she can serve a special treat to her company for that time of year. I made my grandmother dresses. She loved that she got a new dress and that I made it for her since she was my sewing inspiration! ;)
Maybe some embroidered pillow cases for her bed. Or a picture frame with a nice pic of family members. I also like to crochet dishcloths. Hugs. Nan W
how about a memory lap quilt. that way she can have her family huggin g her when she is cold
Perhaps a nice warm scarf for winter or a comfortable pillow for her chair?
Probably the same as my 103 yr old Mother. I can no longer make or buy anything and I try. I bought bed room slippers last year. She loves the calendar my daughter sends with pictures of my granddaughters.
