Help me, Cuties! I know there are many members on Cute that purchase blank items to stitch on for craft fairs/shows. Where would the best online site for purchasing good quality cotton/polyester golf type shirts at a reasonable price. I cannot purchase wholesale, as I only plan to buy a few, and do not have a dealer number for buying wholesale. Thanks.

I use www.outletshirts.com. Their products are good and very true to size.

I buy my stuff at outlet stores nearby whose prices are so close to the wholesale prices that it's not worth my time to purchase elsewhere. Besides, there is no minimum purchase. Yes, I have to pay tax, but that's ok considering the convenience this store provides. If I need 100 of something, then I buy wholesale online.

You have to be careful when you purchase online. Good quality =$$$ That's not to say something expensive is high quality. Just that better quality fabrics do cost more to make. Cuties who purchase online will help guide you. Be sure to add in the tax and the shipping to get your total cost. Your tax could be less where you live. I just purchased something online that I could not purchase locally and the tax and shipping were as much as the item!

Where are you located? Don't you have to collect sales tax on items you sell? Consider getting that business/resellers license to purchase wholesale. You can also check with your local screenprinting shop. They may be able to offer you some deals from their regular suppliers.

No, AuntAnnie, I do not have to collect sales tax, because I am not selling items. I am stitching shirts for my husband and a few of his friends. I have not gotten into a "business" status yet.

Here is a link to the Regular Embroidery Wear that shoppers rule sells.
They do have Golf Shirts - not sure how good the pricing is.
Link Below.
Have you tried to look for sales on Shirts in the Sports stores or Men's Stores? Sometimes you may find a great sale price on items you could embroider on and then just buy a few sizes that you think may work for you.

If you go to the Shoppers rule Website and join their Club which is free to join, they often put on Blanks such as T-Shirts etc. for special prices for their Club members.
They send out an Ad daily with what is on special for Club members.
You can Join on the page link below.
