Viking just came out with software geared to the Mac users. But I don' t remember what it is called. Maybe check out the web site.
I just went to the site and didn't see anything. I looked back in my emails to find the name. It is called TruEmbroidery for Mac users. Maybe see if there is a Viking dealer in your area.
I have an iMac with OS X version 10.7.4. Use it for nearly everything but have also parallels to work with embird cause they are not willing to create a version for apple-users :o(
On my desktop there is a screen with parallels which looks like windows and there I have my embird open but save everything directly on my mac-desktop :o)
Greetings, Bettina
Here is the link to the Embrilliance Website for several software programs that run on a Mac computer system with out having to load Windows operating system on a Mac.

I have a mac desktop and a normal wndows laptop. I use convert it mac and embrilliance as viewer and also to change formats on my iMac desktop from where I transfer onto usb stick to my machine. For software I have gone the virtual machine route (not bootcamp) and have loaded VMware Fusion with the normal windows operating system. on this section I have my digitizing software. Have to admit that I rather use my normal Windows laptop when I want to work on my digitising programs as I find it to be much more stable than the virtual option. Would love to see what our other mac users are doing.
