Beautiful! And what a great way to keep the angels clean! Well done! *4all
Your angel ornaments are beautiful! Will be a lovely addition to the Christmas tree.
Prehaps adding the year these are made would make these an heirloom item. Next year make them using a different angel or design and adding the year written on the lower part of the ball. Especially wonderful idea for new baby gift, by the time they are grown what a wonderful tree they would have. Thank you son much for this idea. I needed a wedding gift for my cousin for next week, this will be a lovely, unusal gift. Thank you again.
It would be difficult to put the date pn such small items, maybe some ribbon could be located or embroidered with the date on it. Then tied on the top of rhe ornament. Hugs, Susan
I have one idea in head how about lace item with year on it. Not these angels.Unless they was holding a tiny ribbon. Or as you suggest on top. Great idea.
YOUR IDEA IS JUST GREAT, AND YOUR FINISHED ITEMS ARE WONDERFUL
These are really pretty and what superb protection for the lace!
Very nice idea. They will be lovely hanging on a tree for the holidays, but could also stay out all year. Well done!
Nice way to hang them. I just put fsl angels on my tree and they can get lost. Hanging inside the clear ornament will really show up better against the tree.
Love them .I too would like to know how you got them inside the ball please
Thank you it is not hard as I explained to Sigrun. With tweesers after I made angel roll. Then straightened her out with a gentle touch with my crochet hook.
Lovely - how did you put them inside the ball, please????
Thank you. I used tweesers rolled and got inside once inside I used crochet hook gently pushed to flatten from the rolled.Note I say gently. Beware you first should attach lol a string or for these I used jewerly wire at top of halo area to attach so once inside ready to bring up attach wire to ornament wire. Then you won't have to do as I did first Angel. Once you figure one out the next gets smoother, then faster. 5 of these fit into a 120x120 hoop.
thank you for your explain - will try it if I find ball like this here in Iceland
Oh the jewerly wire is a good idea. I have been using invisible thread to hang my angels inside the ornaments. It is very difficult to work with. But it does give them freedom to move inside the ornament. Hugs, Susan
SEEMS VERY BEAUTIFUL design; LAST YEAR I SEWED A NATIVITY SCENE IN A BIG SPHERE, THEN I GAVE IT TO A FRIEND AND HAVE NO PHOTO. THIS YEAR IF I HAVE TIME I WILL SEW A CHRISTMAS VILLAGE IN DIFFERENT SPHERE; thank you for sharing.
Would you share where these angels are from please? They are very lacey looking. Thanks, Susan
Well not sure but if someone knows whom Ma4 belongs to then you got it. I did do 2 clicks downsize so it these are 1.60 x 2.00. Used very shinny glittery organiza.
Yes they are flying those angels !!!!really really lovely hugs
