There are no words to express our anxiety for all our American friends who are facing this terrible threat, so I will save my words for prayer. Hugs and blessings, Meg

Karen keep safe and I will keep you and family in my prayers. Hugs Marie
I wish you good humor in what ever happens, but praying that all will be well!! In 1959 we had the eye of a hurricane pass over Hialeah, FL so my brothers, sister and I were in the street dancing!! Then in 200? Charley hit FL, so my sister and husband left home and stayed at a motel inland BUT Charley decided turn and hit right over them..... Good Luck!!!
I too hope it's lots less extreme than they are predicting. Will be looking forward to seeing all who are in its path back with us safe and well very soon. Best of luck to all.
I'll be praying for you. Did you stock up in case you lose power? I hope it doesn't hit you very badly but it looks like the whole east coast will get part of Sandy in some way shape or form. They're saying here in central NY we'll get the high winds and a LOT of rain.I really feel for those who may end up with two feet of snow, specially if it's an area that is not used to snow and the towns do not have the equipment or plows for dealing with it. It's going to be a bad one no matter how you look at it. I just pray for everyone in her path. Keep us posted if you can.
Meri
Praying for your safety and those in the same situation. Hopefully it will not be as bad or last as long as predicted.
Stay safe and it has been a wild ride so far. Praying for safety of all you
who are going through this storm.
Preparation is half the battle. Hunkering down safely is the other half. Be sure to have plenty of water, food and some extra type of heat source. It would not hurt to have some games to play. Watched on the news tonight where a bunch of electric power trucks are headed from our way to yours. They will have you up and running ASAP. That is one nice thing when there is a storm people come from all over to help. Be sure to step outside and tell them "Thank You" because, it means a lot to them. I know when we had Hurricane Katrina there were power trucks that came from everywhere. The guys that turned back on our power after 11 days were from Georgia. I made them lemonade without ice. They were just the greatest guys in the world to me when the power came back on. Be safe. Sending prayers
Praying for all those in the path of the storm..as well as those that have to be out in it!! Glad you're ready!
I am praying that it will not be as bad as they predict. I am glad you did all you can do to be prepared for this storm. Keep us posted if you can.
My brother who was supposed to leave New York Tuesday to fly back to Europe changed his flight to Thursday. Hopefully it will be over by then.
Hope everyone is safe and sound. We live by the Jersey shore, about 5 minutes from the ocean. Hope it wouldn't be as severe as they predict. Hugs and blessings, Rachel
We are set here too! Added larger water troughs for the heifers and made sure the generator was ready for the barn. House doesn't have a hook up for it so we'll just wing that....the freezers are on a separate box and have hook up so that's good. Ran more water, batteries ready....what a day.
Adding my prayers to yours and especially for you and your husband.
We have been watching the weather channel even here in Australia , it looks like a real nasty one , stay safe hope you have packed your sewing machine away nice and safe , Cathy
My heart goes out to you. We have friends in the area and I hope they are as prepared as you and safe! Hopefully the power is only of the 5 days. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Diane
Keep safe!!! I know what you mean though we are prepared too. Generator all set, water stocked, fridge full, hand sewing ready LOL I just get a kick of the news saying if we lose tv they will be updating on line, Do they realize that everything goes out around here!! Wait to hear that's all safe with you.
Stay safe. We are already getting a rain, sleet, snow mix and in the 30's. Looked on the weather map and the bands of rain from the hurricane are already swirling back over land. My husband said that there is aid on the way. Power companies from as far away as Texas are on the way to help restore power where it's needed. Hopefully you will not lose power and if you do maybe not as long as they are predicting.
My prayers are with you and all others affected by this storm. Stay safe!
Hugs, Nadyne
