I'd love to pick that as my gift. how thoughtful of you to make it. I also would love to have the pattern and know how you're holding the thread snippet bag open. Please share with us.
Whats in your pin cushion??and what holds your circle open???
I love them hugs Carilyn
Gravity, lol! I trryed to close it more for the pictures and thats the best I could do. The bottom of the bag is flat and has a piece of cardboard in it to give it a flat surface and that probally helps some too.
Make a correction to spelling and even though you have your words spaced they run together, try and correct that an more run together. Must be a glitch of some sort in the program.
Oh good idea i sewed square corners in mine but never thought to add cardboard to the bottom thanks for the tips hugs
Oh I guess I missed part of your question Carilyn, lol! Sorry, My bad, lol! I have the peppermint stuffed with stuffing and I have a snack bag full of sand in the center for weight. My husband owns a body shop so I have access to clean sand whenever I need it, crushed walnut shells would work too. The pattern calls for the whole tpeppermint to be filled with sand or walnut shells, but thats and awful lot of weight for thread snippings, lol! My bag will never get THAT full.

This is so cute!!!! Where did you find the pattern? I made a fancy one and would love to make a holiday one!!!
I need to finish the bag and I'll have a Frankenstein one as well. I made a Bat Scissor Chatelaine and a Witch Scissors Fob for the other part of the same swap. Someone else will get to pick that one. I will have to find the pictures and up load them as well.
So very cute. You did a great job. I hope you will share the pattern with us. Hugs & Stitches, Liz
They are lovely. Would you share the pattern please?
I bought I 36 page booklet by Nancy Halversen "Sew Necessary" at a garage sale. Date in the booklet is 2009
phone number is (801)544-5511, the address: Nancy Halversen PO Box 1004 Layton UT 84041-1004
no web-site or email address is given On the back cover is #540B and the barcode number is 6 32552 00540 2, the 6 and 2 on the ends are the small numbers you see in bar codes and many times aren't used in identification purposes. I hope this helps anyone looking for it. If its out of productin, maybe you can even find it for loan from your local library. Sometimes they have them there, sometimes not.
Diane
On amazon.com they write the name Halvorsen but I think it is the book you have. No chance on the german amazon :o(
