Meg, all prayers are very welcome! So far so good here, just winds and rain. I'll know more after daylight and I can see what's out there. Thank you all for thinking of us. I love my Cute family!

I'm watching the news of Sandy on the web, it's really scary ... I hope that it finish quickly and without much damage.
Hugs to you all!!

Thanks for everyone's prayers! It isn't nice at the moment in NY! Relatives in NJ have been evacuated. The 70 mph winds sounds like a freight train and the rain is coming down sideways. And it's just getting started! Will be some night, for sure!
Just to say I am thinking of you at this terrible time watching the TV here in U.K.and hoping it won't be as bad as they expect,Bernadette
To all our American friends, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God be with you. Hugs Yvonne
Thank you we are at a stand still live in the middle of pa. the wind has picked up and some rain they say around 9 tonight.
All prayers welcome-It is such a wide spread storm 800-1000 miles wide
comprised of 3 storms merging into a huge complex storm. Some will
get snow and sleet. With the trees in leaf will cause more chance for uprooting and downing of electrical.
It looks to come in through Cape May but due to it being so huge the entire 1/3 of USA will be affected in some way and some more than others.
The storm surge will affect New Jersey coastal and New York severely.
Already with Hi tide and storm surge and full moon it is expected to top
certain low lying areas.
Then in the aftermath of flooding a cold front and loss of power to many and if the subways flood and with elections so near we are definetly in a pickle.
I pray the damage will be as low as possible. We do have family within
the danger zone so we will be praying for them and all in the wide path of the storm. Damage overall expected to be in the billions.
Good luck to all cuties and your families.
My prayers are being said for all in the path of the storm. May God hold all who are in the path of the storm in the palms of his hands
Expect wind gust up to 55 mph this afternoon and tonight...Some power outages may occur due to downed trees....
Forecast for my part of North Georgia. I hope we don't loose power for too long, but that is minimal with all of the loss expected in the coastal areas.
Thanks for all of your prayers.
Praying for your safety, and may you come through this unscathed. Hope your power stays on, that's so scary on top of it all !! hugs
Thanks so much. Awaiting the storm really looks bad. The house that we use to have in Jersey is going to be under water & that kinda hurts because we built it. Also my 2 daughters live in Jersey. Asked them to come here but they didn't want to. Arlene
I do pray that you will be fine, and your daughters too. You must be so worried for them
Thank you Meg. We are awaiting the brunt of the storm. It is supposed to start hitting us in the next hour or so. Hugs, Mary
