I missed this one -It is very nice. Nice to be able to work on the road.
I get dizzy working in the car.
You did a great job on it. I too have to have something to work on while we are on the road. I have 3 different quilts started and just take turn as to which one I am working on. I started these before I got my embroidery machine. I enjoy both kinds of embroidery.
way to go & I look forward to seeing them when you get them done, ~Hugs Loralye~
It is stunning, I did some hand sewing when i was in Lanzarote for five weeks. and i have not got my machines out yet, I am moving sewing rooms. few what a task.
I am well imprested with your hand sewing.
Hugs Pam.
thanks Pam I appreciate it & hope that you got a chance to get rested up~Hugs Loralye~
This is lovely, Loralye I can't even read in the car without getting car sick I could never do this on a road trip. Well done :)
I can't read in the car, but there is something different about the hand embroidery - it doesn't make me sick. :)
Great take along project and perfect for this time of year! ;)
This is beautiful Loralye
Just love the colors and the details you put into it,
hugs
Michelle
Beautiful! You are much more ambitious than I am. The best I do is to crochet potholders on long trips to give away.
I wish that I could follow a pattern to do that I love those wash cloths! I was away this yr sew I missed our bazzars & thats where I pick up a few of them. ~thanks & hugs Loralye~
Lovely Fall wall hanging. Your lucky you can handle sewing and motion together. I take some things with me but got to be in sit parked position to work on.
lol I have trouble just sitting.............& we did alot of driving. we put almost 6000 kms on our car. ~Thanks Mary, Hugs Loralye~
The hand stitches are perfect for this quilt piece. You did a wonderful job on stitching and riding.
It looks very impressive. I suffer from motion sickness and can't do anything in a moving car.
me too but dh bought a goofy looking strap that hooks under the back of the car & voila it works great. We went far & I had no problems. He said it removes the static electricity from the car. I hope that you can locate one of these. ~thanks & hugs Loralye~
I've never heard of a strap on the car to help with motion sickness. Any idea where he got it so I can look for it. One of my daughters gets very motion sick.
very nice. You are more ambitious than me, I use road trips as a time to rest my "tennis elbow"! I've never played tennis in my life!
lol well I have trouble sitting still & since my brain surgery I can't handle nosie (radio) for very long. It gives me something to do~thanks~
I did whisper fusable applique for all but the crows.I did most of the blanket stitching by hand but some of the smaller bits were by machine with heavier thread to match.
