Dear Meg, I'm so happy everything is going well with Ray. I do believe in prayers, and this is an answered one. Love and hugs, Yoriko
Wonderful news. God can and does perform miracles. I;m very glad Ray was one of them. Now both of you take care of yourselves and do go out and overdue right away.
Meg, I think of you often. May you husband be good as new quickly. It is amazing what heart doctors can do.
God be with you in this trying time...
Healing hugs, Bonnie
Just wanted to let you guys know that I rang to speak to Meg last night and Ray answered the phone! I asked him how things were after the surgery and he said he felt great. The power of prayer is marvellous and not to be underestimated. I'll be going down to see them next week, once things have settled down a bit. Love and blessings Chris
Meganne, so glad to hear everything went well for Ray, been thinking of you both. Hugs
Oh Meganne, I'm so relieved to hear Ray is going to be okay! I have been praying for you both! I thought you might like a card with both a kitten and some roses! hugs for your both, Jan
I can't believe how blessed we are.
When the Cardiologist did the angiogram he found the main left artery to be 99% blocked in one section, 90% blocked in a second section and 80% blocked in a third section. Then he found an artery in the back of his heart that was also 99% blocked.
He installed three stents in a procedure through his right arm and had a lot to say about the lack of follow up when he apparently had a heart attack some 13 years ago, before I knew him. He said it was a miracle he had not had a massive coronary and died, especially with all the heavy manual labour he does. His only symptoms have been profuse sweating and shortness of breath, which his previous doctor said was probably the start of emphysema. Obviously NOT!!!!
I was so grateful to our (new) GP I rang him and thanked him for saving Ray's life and I could have kissed the Cardiologist for his life-saving skills. Evidently it is very rare to install three stents in one, through the arm procedure.
So my dear Cute family, once again I thank you all for your prayers and ask you to heed my advice, if you or yours have symptoms that don't seem normal, please have them checked and don't be afraid to speak out and get pushy if necessary.
I have to tell you all, when we saw our GP on Friday, (was that only four days ago??), he was going to send Ray for more tests and said he should take a week off work, to which I immediately said:
"You've got to be kidding haven't you, he won't take time off work, he's a workaholic!"
To which GP replied, "Right! Well you're going into hospital, immediately!"
How quickly our life can be turned upside down and thankfully, this time, for the very best results.
Hugs and love to you all, Meg and (the best part of me), Ray
Dear Meg: I am so happy to hear the good news and that all is well. The power of Cuties Prayers worked its miracle once again.
Thank the Lord for another miracle, thank you Meganne for the update, will still keep you two in my prayers, hugs S*
wow isnt it wonderful to find professionals who really know what is what...i hope D/H is on the mend ...soozie
I Thank God for all He has done for you and Ray! Will keep Praying for quick healing for Ray... Hugs, Judy
Meg, I am so glad you still have Ray with you. We know all too well how quick one's life can change in the blink of an eye. I have a male friend who has 3 blocked arties and has been told they will not operate (triple herat bypass) as the risk is far too high of losing him on the table so now his wife will not let her husband out of her sight. She is so very worried. Glad all is fine for now for you and Ray. Love Kerry
Yeah! I am so happy for you both, and the wonderful work of the doctor's. Happy Days!
just read your post - as always hugs, sparkles and prayers sent your way
Denise
Thank you all so much. I'm sitting here in his room waiting for him to come back from surgery, playing with my phone and praying because i don't know what else to do. No matter how many times our beloveds face life threatening surgeries it doesn't get any easier. In fact, the longer we are together , the more we love them abd the more it sickens us with worry. I know angiograms are a simple procedure these days, but he doesn't take anaesthetic well & there is a high risk of dislodging a blood clot. Sometimes I wish i wasn't aware of the risks. Why is it i can be so positive for myself and so terrifed for my darling?
Sorry to pour out my heart but i have never been so sick with worry & i am sitting here alone.
Dear Meg, I'm praying with you - and he will be back soon and you will have some answers, pray they are good ones
I wish you had the Cute army stationed out in the hallways and spilling over throughout the hospital. I just went through this last month with my DH. In the hospital here, they went in first with a camera to be sure that there were no clots present. Maybe they do that there also. Praying with you.
He's all right! Thank God and Cuties for all your prayers and the wonderful Cardiologist. He has had three stents in three major arteries and it has saved his life. Thank you God for answering our prayers.
Amen to that thank-u God!!Now please continue to heal her loved one hugs carolyn
My prayers are with you both. Thank you for taking the time to type us your explanation whilst you are understandably exhausted. I hope you can get some rest. May Gods grace be with you all these days. Hugs Debbie

Thoughts and prayers with you and Ray as you face your next challenges...stay strong...think positive thoughts and know that the Cute Community is behind you both...
Meganne, my thoughts and prayers will continue to be with the two of you. You sound as if you are pleased with the Dr's and the hospital. That is a big plus. Tell Ray that we will all be thinking and praying for him to get well very quickly. I hope he will recover quickly and will be back home recooperating with you! The two of you have moved some tremendous health issues in the family in the last few yrs so we already know how stong the two of you are! May the Lord keep the both of you in His loving hands! If you will PM me with an address that I can send Ray a card, I would appreciate it. You continue to take care of yourself so you can be there for Ray! Prayers and blessings , Linda
Hugs and prayers are coming your way. Hope things go well for Ray. Hugs Shirley

Meganne, I hope all goes well with Ray's heart problems. You take care as well.
Meg I am praying for him I hope he will be all right.
love and hugs Lenamae
Hi Meg, I hope everything turns out fine. Prayers and hug sent
Oh, Meg, I know how scary that can be. I will be praying that Ray is better than ever after this procedure and that you will have the peace that only God gives while you wait for the results. Step out in faith that this will resolve. You will be rewarded for your willingness to let God handle it ~ He's got it all under control. ;)
Prayers for both your husband and you, Meg! Hang in there! God is good, and will take care of Ray. My hubby had a stent put in three years ago, and has had so much more stamina and strength. Ray will feel like a new man, when he is all healed!
Hugs, Angel
Just dropping in for a few minutes before I collapse in my bed.
Thank you all so very much for your prayers and wishes.
I wasn't going to trouble Cuties with our problem, but this morning I was so distressed and so worried I had to ask for my Cute family's prayers and support and also explain the real reason for my absence. I truly believe He listens to the prayers of Cuties.
Ray is now comfortably settled in the Doctor's Private Hospital at Gosford, has his own room and is quite relaxed, which is more than I can say for me, I have been a total wreck thinking how he has been a walking time bomb and all that concreting he has been doing! And to think this week end was his flexi-day long week-end and he was planning to concrete the wall over his four day break!!!!
We have been so lucky to find a good GP up here who is so thorough he talks to you until he gets to the root of your problems and then acts on them. He wasted no time admitting Ray to hospital as soon as the echo-cardiogram results came back.
Now the waiting continues, because the Cardiologist won't do the Angiogram until Tuesday, but he is being monitored and his only exertion is lifting his dinner fork. :-)
His son and daughter came up on Saturday and spent a couple of hours, with a rest break in between.
Sadly, but probably for the best, his Mum is blissfully unaware and thinks I am going bowling every day. I did tell her on Friday but the Alzheimer's made her worry very short lived.
Well my friends I am off to bed, I know I won't sleep but I can lay down and watch the telly while my mind races at a thousand miles an hour. Thank you all so very much for your prayers for my darling hubby. hugs and roses to all, Meg
Glad to hear from you. Prayers abound from the Cuties....Melt into them. Be refreshed even if sleep is short.
Meganne, praying for a quick recovery, put everything in God's hands
Meg, I just finished reading this post. I will be praying for Ray and for you. I hope all goes well and it will be just a stent and not a replacement.
Best wishes to Ray for a very speedy recovery. Hugs, Mary
Dearest Meganne, My thoughts & prayers are with you and Ray at this time. I pray that it would only need a stent and that he will go on to a speedy recovery. Look after yourself. Hugs and much love Christine, Johannesburg
Hoping for the lesser treatment, Megan. Keep your chin up. Jan
Prayers and hugs for Ray and for you, dear Meganne. Hope that a stent will be enough!
My hubby had a valve replacement and triple by-pass 9 years ago, everything has gone well and he has healed well. We have great surgeons and rehabilitation personnel, and they will do the best for him.
Please take care of yourself, as he will need you.
Love and hugs, Lidia
