I am learning about some of the stitches on my machine & I thought the clam shell would make a nice border here on my appliqued penguin. I did a basic blanket stitch around each item in the matching color instead of the traditional black.What do you think? The scrunchie in the blue is part of the actual design, kind of neat.There is padding under those spots for a 3D effect

Very loveable looking penguin. Glad your enjoying your new machine. Did you get all the feet and gizmos that could with it? I am still wishing wanting. Thought I had the hoops I would use. I should have just went down the check list.
