I draw with pen and paper (old school), occasionally digitize with the Wacom tablet, but often am too lazy to hook it up, so I'm on the laptop with the touchpad for digitizing. Honest. Mouse is a pain, too, don't ever use one. My dealer thinks I'm crazy. I say "hats off" to anyone who can actually draw anything that looks like it's supposed to on a computer. I've tried, and had better luck with my baby brother's Etch-a-Sketch. Give me a good old pencil any day. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Merry Christmas, hugs, Marji
Question - when you use pen and paper, do you just then scan it in? I'm very new to digitizing, and clueless about everything
I own the Baby Lock Ellisimo and purchased the tablet upgrade. These devices handle simple designs very well, but nothing with details. I use Masterworks to digitize and it has spoiled me. The tablet stays in its case and would not recommend it for anyone who really wants to do any serious work. Neat toy and is about it.
I have a Wacom tablet and stylus, came with 3D Sketch - so I'm pretty sure it will work perfectly with 4D and know it does in 5D.
Hi Laura, I just collected my brand new Brother Quattro 6700D Innovis Eye on Friday and that comes with a tablet. I haven't even got it out of the box as yet. Still trying to work out why the USB won't allow me to download designs. I'm off to the dealers today to have some more questions answered! Good luck with your search for one. Love and blessings Chris
Wacom pen and tablet
Many use the Wacom Bamboo tablet with their digitizing software...it's very popular and works very well.
I have a graphics tablet, but I haven't used it for digitising. I get on better with a mouse.
I cannot believe that not one of the Cutie digitizers will clue me in. Just kidding, I know everyone is busy this time of year.
Come back AFTER this busy weekend. Most have company, are going somewhere or are busy cooking, baking.I am sure someone will help you. This is a very supportive group.
