I love those penguins! Looks fabulous. Flower for sharing.
Very nice just love the penguins and the movement that they show . They actually look like they are waddling on and thehead movement. this is realy great.
WOOOOW!!! What a wonderful peice of art work you have created. Don't give up on your quilting for embroidering. Maybe you could combine the both and have the best of both worlds. we are still waiting for your winged heart project. flower for sharing
What a wonderful quilt....sure hope you don't give up quilting entirely.
This is a beautiful work .And the blue fabric which surrounds all white and black (+little yellow) balances this work of yours.Have you done this for yourself or is this a gift? *4U
Hi Eric... nice job on the penguins. ;-)... I'm so glad we have a guy in the group. I have to ask however...how did you get into sewing and embroidery? We're glad you're here! ;-)
I have been sewing for about 25 years ever since that first "Home Education" class with making an apron. It's gone far beyond that apron to clothes, suits, home decor, quilting, and on and on. Thanks for the compliments and it's a pleasure to be a member of this group.
wow can you talk my hubbie into being this interest in sewing I wouldn't have to put up with his coments when I spot a nice fabric shop while traveling
great work
Minniieb, Just give me his add'y and I'll put a "bug in his ear" that should solve the problem!!! E
Eric, what a wonderful quilt - I do believe that it is well received by all. Hehehe! Great work and we look forward to seeing many more from you. Keep them coming. *4U now you have 126
I just love this pattern, "happy feet" I didn't see the movie but it looks like the name would fit.
Nice job Eric! Did you machine or hand applique the penguins? I used to do lots of quilting then I got my embroidery machine and have become smitten...I keep hoping the "new love" will wear off and I'll get back to my projects soon. Although, I do make some money with the embroidery and gave away all of my quilts.:)
That is very lovely. Lots of work. Thank you for sharing and looking forward to seeing your heart project. *4U ><>

Love the way the penguins are placed looking so lifelike Amarilloactor.
Amarilloactor, I just love this quilt. Did you have a pattern for this or is it your own design. I would love to make one like this. We live in Simonstown, South Africa and there is a Jackass penguin colony close to us, so it this quilt would be very appropriate. Thanks for sharing. *4U
