I need some help , I have been asked to embroider the name Ash on a bath robe

1- how big would you do the letters ,I thought about 1,1/2"
2- does anyone know of some good freebies, I have looked through all the ones I have ,they look too big or too small

Hi Monika, I have been playing with the A from Cute Alphabets Rose font and came up with three possibilities for you, assuming of course that you already have the above mentioned alpha.
I can send you the letters I digitised and you could line them up in your software program.
Just give me a holler because I'm not on my pc until after dinner most days now. I'll email you my phone number.
Hugs n roses, Meg

PS. you could also just do the A, which I think is more classy than doing the whole name on a bath robe.
In which case Cute has some other gorgeous embossed alphas, the swan one comes to mind as it is a favourite

if it's on the 'breast pocket' area, I would do a fairly large and fancy "A" then lower-case "sh". Your machine would probably have a few fonts to choose from? Perhaps you could embroider on a 'shield' and applique it on. good luck

Thanks Vicki , yes my machine does have some fonts(Janome 11000) , but I thought ,it might be nice if the A had a small flower , I have been trying to sort a design out all weekend ,Ill have to keep looking
