Help!! I bought a new embroidery machine Husqvarna topaz 20, I was thinking the format would be vip, is vp3 the same thing??

My Topaz 30 (similar to the Topaz 20 but with some more feautures) reads vp3 only. I use Embird Basic to open other formats and convert them to vp3.

I would be so upset if my older files would no longer work on a new machine. My Baby Lock recognizes all the PES formats. Hope you can get some help.
360642Congratulations on your new machine! I also have a Husqvarna (but an older Designer 1) , and yes both vip and vp3 will work. I love my machine and have been using it almost every day for 8 years for both straight stitching and embroidery.

I created a folder and added vip designs to it, when I try to open them on my machine it says the folder is empty. What am I doing wrong?

For Dino. I also love my Designer 1 but have worn it out and got tired to trips to the repair dept. so DH told me to get the Diamond which is mostly wonderful. I purchased an attachment that had a USB plug on one end and I inserted the floppies on the the other. It will only use the USB stick that came with it and I don't think that is the way it should be and will contact the dealer soon but right now I need it too bad to let it go.
