Very nice. This would make a pretty quilt, maybe do several w/same flower but different orientation, circle several around, etc. Will be watching to see what you decide.
Hi Jenne,
This is great, it looks like hand applique embroidery to me, is it?
Love and blessings Chris
Wow, this is lovely, I was looking at flower patterns and thinking of making something for my girls... I love the colors you used. I saw one quilt with a variety of flowers and colors and it was stunning :)
I agree, perfect! Your stitches are great and the points are wonderful. I'd decide what I'm going to make them into before I make too many of them. Think about what other flower patterns you may want to use for variety. Or what background colors you may want to change. I can't figure out what the background fabric is, but if your end goal is to make a quilt, prewash your fabric.
I used a perma press muslin since this was a try out Ijust a scrap I had on hand.
Perfect. It looks like you hand appliqued it. I'm very impressed. I'm trying to do some Christmas Present Blocks by machine right now. I had to use Steam-A-Seam2 to adhere to the background fabric. I wish I were as capable as you. It really is a beautiful block.
Beautifully made and I would want a whole quilt of these in different colors.
Beautiful applique choice. I think your color idea is yours. I know I am in purple mood a lot but rainbow next and then two toned next. Then just one colored so I would go with my color I was in mood for and stay with it. :) You have beautiful color going.
